Important message about eDA With the commencement of the Planning Act 2016 on 3 July 2017, the state will be supporting only one electronic development assessment system – MyDAS2. As a result, smart eDA will cease to accept new applications from 5pm on 30 June 2017. Note applicants and councils will still be able to log into smart eDA after 3 July 2017, to progress any existing applications. For further information, click here

Please note as of 31 July 2014 until further notice, the eDA service will only be available during normal business hours between 8.00am and 5:30pm each business day. We apologise for any inconvenience.

As of the 1 July 2013, all new development applications where the state has a jurisdiction should only be referred to the Department of State Development Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP), due to its role as the single State Assessment Referral Agency. Government-owned corporations such as Energex, Ergon, ports etc will still need to be referred to separately.
